How to get listed on Rehab Online
To appear on Rehab Online, a service must:
1. Provide residential addiction treatment in the UK
Any service offering structured, residential, addiction treatment may be eligible.
2. Be registered with the appropriate statutory regulator
- England: Care Quality Commission (CQC)
- Scotland: Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS)
- Wales: Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW)
- Northern Ireland: Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA)
3. Meet minimum safety and quality expectations
Providers must hold a regulatory rating that demonstrates safe and compliant practice. If a service receives a rating such as “Requires Improvement” or an equivalent indicator of concern, we may temporarily suspend the listing until the rating improves.
4. Provide accurate, up-to-date information
We require providers to supply correct details about their programme, facilities and contact information. We review all content to ensure it is factual and helpful for the public.
Free Basic Listings
There is no charge to appear in the directory. Our aim is to list all eligible residential services, regardless of commercial considerations.
Maintaining an accurate directory
We monitor regulatory updates and may request further clarification from providers where needed.
If information becomes outdated or no longer meets our criteria, we may edit, suspend or remove a listing until it is corrected.
A listing confirms that:
- The provider is a regulated residential addiction service in the United Kingdom
- Basic information has been reviewed for accuracy
