Appointments for assessments are generally to be booked in for between 11am and 3pm during working week Monday to Friday The assessment takes an hour to complete, unless the client has complex needs. The assessment allows staff to identify with potential clients the areas they need support with in as well as establishing if any wider support needs would require any onward referrals.
Turning Point operates in a person centred manner and looks at the needs and risk assessment of the client
On admission each client has a early discharge plan agreed, which ensures that a action plan is in place should the client need to discharge themselves or be discharged at short notice. Discharge plans are agreed with referring partners/agencies to ensure a safe transition where early discharge occurs
