Leigh Bank offers support for individuals with various Mental Health conditions, either self reported or diagnosed. Where individuals are already engaged with the local CMHT we would ask for the referrer to contact the CMHT and ask them either to keep the client open to their tram whilst on Leigh Bank or to ask the team to submit an internal case transfer to Oldham CMHT. Leigh Bank is happy to work in a multi disciplinary way with all professionals involved with each individual, as such we welcome and encourage transparency, partnership work and close working agreement arrangements. Wherever an individual presents with new Mental Health issues that were previously unknown/unrecognised to the individual or any professionals involved, our team will complete and submit a referral to our local CMHT in Oldham.
* Severe and enduring mental health issues to such an extent that it will prevent our team from being able to fully engage the individual in the therapeutic process. * Unable to demonstrate sufficient level of mental capacity. * History of extreme violence, towards general public or professionals. * History of arson. * Schedule 1 offenders. * Have mobility issues which may prevent acceptable standards of self-care/personal hygiene and/or engagement with the programme/rehab environment.
We have our own Turning Point Detox programme which runs out of our Smithfield project in Manchester. This is fully staffed with a team professional medical and support workers on site 24hours. Smithfield is situated 5 miles away from Leigh Bank.
