Free aftercare for 12 months. Our aftercare programmes consist of ongoing access to support groups, networking assistance, talks and advice for patients, as well as family support groups.
Harm reduction plans depend on the referral source. BAS patients are referred back. Private patients can choose alternative treatment (CBT/stress management). Others may take up one-to-one counselling sessions or attend alcohol awareness courses to help in reducing use.
One social worker is connected to the hospital, and two more are available through BAS. As a hospital, the Priory is not involved directly as a long-term rehab would be.
