The Providence Projects can offer the complete solution for drug misuse, alcohol problems and other addictive disorders. Everything from detox to resettlement is available including the superb eclectic rehab programme. Programmes are available from 4 weeks up to 6 months and can be designed and tailored to suit the need of the individual. The first stage is often detox which is overseen by Dr Ni'man and the team at The Providence Surgery who ensure all your medical needs are taken care of. Detox usually takes between 7 and 14 days although can be longer depending on the nature of the addiction. The rehab programme can be anything from 4 weeks to 6 months. The holistic programme ensures that all needs of the clients are met. Individual care plans are designed to address and resolve the underlying issues often associated with alcohol or drug misuse. The weekly programme consists of one-one counselling, group therapy, acupuncture, written assignments, family therapy, music therapy, fun activities, lectures, and workshops. During the workshops, topics covered include self-esteem, relationships, families, shame and guilt, assertiveness, anger management, grief and loss, stress management, relapse prevention and much more. These are just some of the issues often associated with addiction and alcoholism. As the individual's programme comes to an end, The Providence Projects will ensure that a plan has been put in place and appropriate aftercare, whether that be at Providence or somewhere else, has been set up.
