Life Works’ comprehensive Addiction Treatment Programme is an evidence-based programme that is tailored to individual needs, all structured within NICE guidelines. Addiction treatment at Life Works is underpinned by the widely-used 12-Step addiction treatment approach.

Family group therapy is available. We also offer a weekly family support group, free for 12 months following treatment, to help to support your loved ones throughout the addiction recovery process.

At Life Works, detoxification occurs in a safe environment under the close supervision of experienced professionals, so the health and wellbeing of the individual is protected. Depending upon the needs of the individual, medically assisted alcohol detox may involve use of certain prescription medications that can alleviate the discomfort of withdrawal symptoms and suppress alcohol cravings.
