Programme details:

Stage 2 Resettlement provides safe, supported accommodation for people in recovery from substance misuse issues, which is funded by Enhanced Housing Benefit. Currently based onsite at Kenward Trust, residents at Stage 2 are encouraged to live independently, being responsible for their own cooking and cleaning, but each resident has a designated Support Worker who will work with them in starting their path to long-term recovery and a more positive lifestyle. We find that our residents benefit from living amongst a group of peers, drawing strength and support from each other, and reducing the dangers of isolation. All of our properties are alcohol and drug-free, with a zero-tolerance policy, and all of our residents are regularly tested to underpin this.

Resettlement residents can be under the Kenward program for up to 2 years, every case is individual. We offer a new service called Recovery Plus, this is a comprehensive support program aimed at fostering the ongoing well-being of our community members who have completed the Kenward Program. It goes beyond traditional aftercare by offering regular Zoom calls and quarterly meetups, creating a nurturing space for individuals to share their experiences and continue their recovery journeys.
