Birchwood offers all clients individual sessions with their named keyworker, as needed. The programme aims to fully assess the clinical, psychological, psychiatric, social, and physical status of the client. Birchwood also offers group sessions on the following: relapse prevention, offending behaviour, triggers and how to deal with them, confidence building and a session on coping with withdrawal effects. There is no fixed treatment time and Birchwood is open to discussing clients staying longer if needed. We will also look at clients coming in for short periods of time. If a client only needs one to two weeks before entering a rehabilitation unit or for stabilisation, this can also be accommodated
