A complete assessment of needs is linked to a summary of care plan from other services. GP involvement with medical reviews, individual treatment plan addressing substance misuse, taking a long-term perspective, inclusive of other services.
In general we do not accept schedule 1 offenders into our residential centres; however, a decision can be made in individual circumstances based on accurate, full and current information being provided so that a full risk assessment for the community can be undertaken. This also applies to arson convictions. Due to restrictions in the premises, deaf, blind and chronically impaired clients cannot be accepted.
Short term detox available for alcohol and heroin. Usually maximum of 10 days.
